Cesarini Sforza sparkling wines are made from grapes grown mainly in Val di Cembra at an altitude ranging from 300 to 600 m asl.
The landscape is dominated by vineyards supported by wide terraces bordered by dry stone walls, which collectively stretch for more than 700km, and are cultivated mainly with the Trentino pergola and partly with guyot.
The vines are constantly caressed by the Ora del Garda breeze, enjoy optimal sun exposure and are favorably affected by a marked temperature range that ensures perfectly balanced acidity in the grapes. The effects of porphyritic soils result in sparkling wines of extraordinary freshness, minerality, power and elegance.
These are the prerequisites of excellence that make Val di Cembra particularly suited to the cultivation of varieties for sparkling wine bases, primarily Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Different soils, altitudes, microclimates and farming systems make it possible to achieve unique styles and aromatic kits, combined with expert winemaking techniques.
